This tent came with a coupon to get caterpillars by mail. They came in 2 cups with enough food for them to grow. After about a week, they crawled to the top of the cup and formed their chrysalis. At this point, we moved them into the tent and gave them time to do their thing. Another week or so later, the butterflies began to emerge one by one. Abby and I even caught one at just the right time to see it come out!
The kids were able to get in the tent to "play" with their butterflies and thought it was just about the coolest thing EVER!!
Mallie was a little creeped out by the whole thing and thought it was way better to experience it all from the outside!! If the kids even opened the tent, she screamed in fear!!
